This poor fellow sat around 90% finished for a long, long time and I decided to just pick him up and get him done. He is part of the Eldar army that I have been painting and gaming with for the past 11 years! It has seen many iterations and army lists. Still not sure if to add any designs to the tabard, I kind of like the solid colour.

I really dig this guy! I painted mine using black armor plating too. To my recollection, I haven't seen anyone do an Avatar in black. The tabard on mine is a solid red and similarly, I opted to leave it with out an Eldary designs
